TEX GLOBAL
The general objective of the TEXGLOBAL project is to support the long-term growth, competitiveness and industrial modernization of European textile companies by improving their capacity for innovation.
SMEs in the European textile sectors are facing increasing competition on a daily basis. They must therefore increasingly integrate their activities into global value chains through new forms of cooperation. An association comprising the major textile clusters in Europe will allow SMEs to be provided with specialised business support services, such as specific, strategic contacts in the target market, organization of international study visits, association missions, matchmaking events and incoming events.
The activities of the TEXGLOBAL project will help European SMEs to identify growth opportunities around the world, increase their excellence and their innovation capacities within a global ecosystem. The sustainability of the textile industry is based on the innovation process that contributes new products, applications, markets, production processes and services, and this project aims to transfer the means and methodology to SMEs so that they can find suitable partners to develop prototypes and produce a GLOBALLY COMPETITIVE INNOVATIVE MATERIAL, PRODUCT OR SERVICE.
TEXGLOBAL’s internationalisation strategy for SMEs is aimed at the following countries: Mexico, United States, Vietnam.
