ATEVAL l Sustainability and circular economy in the European textile sector.

On 9 July, ATEVAL will host at its headquarters in Ontinyent the final event of the European project EuroBoosTEX, an essential event for companies, professionals and institutions of the textile sector that are committed to sustainability, innovation and digitalisation as levers of transformation.

Organised by the Department of European Projects of ATEVAL, the event is presented as a space for meeting and reflection on the future of textiles in Europe, marked by the ecological and digital transition. The conference will feature the participation of Juan Marcos from Textil Santanderina as keynote speaker, who will share the real experience of his company in the implementation of sustainable practices and circular economy.

In addition, thematic round tables will be held where they will debate on:

Innovation: The role of new developments in the creation of sustainable textiles.

Digitalisation: How technology is changing the way we design, produce and market textiles.

During these sessions, real success stories will also be presented by companies such as Hilaturas Ferre, Tecnologías DIM and MLS 1992, beneficiaries of the EuroBoosTEX project, who will share their projects and ideas that are already making a difference in the sector.

The event will also include interventions on key tools such as the Digital Product Passport (DPP) and InnDIH’s support services (EDIH) for the digitalisation of textiles.

A day geared towards action, the exchange of ideas and the creation of strategic alliances, at a key moment to boost a more resilient, sustainable and competitive European textile sector.
